Biographical sketches; correspondence, 1959-1976; files of speeches, reports and other papers, 1960-1972, pertaining to his service as Erie County Sheriff and Erie County Executive; files on his career in the U.S. Army, and his involvement with various organizations, including the Association of the United States Army, American Legion and Amvets, Elks, and the Republican party. Includes programs and speeches from testimonial dinners given in his honor, and from his various awards and citations. Five scrapbooks document his career in the Buffalo Police Dept., 1941-1950, and as Sheriff of Erie County, 1959-1964, and local and state Republican politics, 1973.
